FAQs

We get it, every wedding is different. Here are some hopefully helpful answers for the day! Any questions, feel free to text/call us.
Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire - have fun with the colors, we are!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

If you are comfortable having your child there, we have no problem with it! But we also understand if you'd like a night out on your own.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Before May 1, please!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive 15 min early to ensure everyone is sat and ready to go!

Question

What do we do between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

We purposefully wanted to give people a bit of time in between both events as we imagine a lot are staying in the area, and so you can have time to check into any lodging, relax a bit and even see the beautiful city of Santa Barbara for our out of town guests before the reception begins.

Question

How are you handling the COVID of it all?

Answer

We are monitoring and assessing the situation daily. We will ensure that all staff on the day will be masked. Masks are also required at the church. The reception will be mostly outside and we are requesting testing for all.

Question

Do I need to test beforehand?

Answer

YES!!! Regardless of any vaccination status/prior infections, we require that ALL guests please take a PCR test no more than 48 hours in advance. If you need help finding a place to be tested at no cost, we are happy to share our recommendations. Jillian & Tom can help you book one for free/at no additional cost. We will also be asking ALL guests (again, regardless of vaccination status/prior infection) to take a rapid test the morning before the ceremony. Tests are available for free right now through USPS and/or are required to be reimbursable through your insurance. We really want to ensure this is a place where everyone can feel safe and to further reduce the risk of any spread, especially to our immunosuppressed guests in attendance.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Of course.

Question

Will there be transportation to/from the venue?

Answer

Due to the amount of time between the ceremony and reception, we will not be providing transportation between the two as we imagine most people will want to check into their hotels and/or see the city a bit. As mentioned, we strongly recommend calling an Uber/Lyft to the reception if you plan on drinking!

Question

What type of food will be served?

Answer

We will have a cocktail hour with an array of yummy appetizers, followed by a full course Italian feast. Please let us know of any allergies/dietary restrictions beforehand.
