Here is a little bit about us and how we met. The very first time we ever met was on Nick’s first temporary Bethel assignment to Patterson New York in the summer of 2019. Nick was eating lunch with some friends outside at Patterson and that's when we first locked eyes. Little did we know a year later we would be seeing each other again. This trip turned out a little different then expected. As we just went along with daily activities we started to take a little more interest in one another. Finally, after figuring out what was going on and deciding to date, here came the good ol' pandemic. Nick went to Megan’s house for one of the first times to meet her family and that’s when things changed. The email to go back to Bethel due to lockdown came out. Not expecting it would last very long, we spent the next 10 months over FaceTime and zoom. This was totally different then we ever could have expected for a dating experience. After 10 months we were able to finally see each other in the flesh. What a surreal feeling! No longer just a face on a screen and a voice over the phone but some one to tie all of those laughs and good times together and in person. We enjoyed a brief time with one another before Nick went back into bethel for work, 4 months later he left again and we have spent since then all the joys of being together. After some planning Nick arranged for the Morabito's and Millhollin's to meet together in person and again not just over zoom. It was then we had an enjoyable day sight seeing around Colorado and to a family picnic in the mountains. Even though it started to rain. Nick took Megan under cover and around the building to see the view of the lake and mountains fading into the distance. As our family stood back from the rain it was then Nick got on a knee and asked his best friend for her hand in marriage. Thankfully she said yes! That leads us here, being able to share such an exciting and enjoyable day with all of you. Now let’s celebrate!
