Mount Tammany Overlook
There are many natural parks around the area, but this vista is one of the best! Getting to the overlook located on the summit of Mt. Tammany does involve a short, strenuous hike, but the effort is well rewarded once you reach the summit. Be sure to spend some time to take in the outstanding views of the Delaware River and Mt. Minsi across the river. Short Hike: A short hike up the 1.2-mile Red Dot Trail will get you to the overlook. It is recommended that you make a loop hike by heading back down the Blue Blaze Trail which is more gradual, less technical, and easier to descend.
