Both of us did as many do today, resorted to online dating! We were both at a point where we were ready to give up and figured EVERYONE on these dating websites was just a weirdo. That was until shortly after Christmas of 2022 when Josh and I began talking on Hinge. The first conversation died after three days, but thank goodness for him, I decided to reach out one last time and we haven't gone a day without talking since. 1.7.2023 was our first date and it lasted 12 hours. Our second date was on 1.14.2023 and we have been officially together ever since.

As many of you know, Josh and I love to take trips together. During our first month together we already had our first out of state trip completed. Over Memorial weekend Josh and I spent a great weekend together up at his family cabin. During and after this trip we both commented on how this was our best trip ever. Labor day weekend came and Josh asked me if I would want to go back to the cabin, of course I said yes. The first night we were there was very chill and relaxed playing games and enjoying time together. The next day we woke up and enjoyed an amazing breakfast together. Josh then asked if I would want to do some fun picture down on the doc. I agreed and got ready. I went down to the dock and Josh tied his phone up to a pole on the dock. We used the video he took and screen-shotted images of ourselves. Josh then said he would be right back and went up to the cabin (I thought he was getting mimosas). when he came back we stood together and enjoyed the view and then he turned to me to tell me how much he loved me and could not have picked a better place. He got on one knee and proposed. The whole time I thought he was faking until I saw the box because he had faked me out so many times. It truly was an amazing and unforgettable moment.
