Mooriah: Our story started in the most unexpected place: a boxing gym in Bethesda, MD. I was there kicking butt and minding my business when I noticed someone was definitely noticing me. What began as quick, casual small talk after class slowly started feeling like something more. Jeremy: Real talk, Mooriah was playing hard to get. She was out the door the minute class ended and kept our conversations short. But I was determined. I even changed my schedule just to make sure I showed up to the same Saturday class she did. I wasn’t giving up that easily. Mooriah: I wasn’t leaving that fast, but I knew he was feeling me (lol). He could hardly focus during class, completely mesmerized by my eyes and my beauty… Jeremy: Babe… chill out (lol). Mooriah: Anyways, he finally shot his shot during a sparring session when he caught me in what can only be described as a sweaty bear hug. Somehow, in the middle of all that chaos, he asked what I was doing the next weekend. A week later, we had our first date at Topgolf on a cool October evening in 2023. From that night on, it’s been an adventure. We love traveling, catching live sports, trying new experiences, and occasionally doing absolutely nothing together. We’ve cheered on the Yankees at Orioles Park, watched LeBron crown himself in Philly, and even became hockey fans for a night. Our passports have stamps from Dubai, St. Lucia, Panama, and Puerto Rico. And whenever we can, we’re in the audience, whether it’s The Lion King on Broadway, an unexpected Chris Rock set in NYC, or Usher in Baltimore. On December 20, 2025, Jeremy proposed at Del Mar in Washington, DC—and it was perfectly imperfect (thanks to the waiter, but that’s a story for another day). Even so, the moment was everything it needed to be. This chapter is only the beginning, and we’re so excited to celebrate our next adventure with all of you. Thank you for being part of our story!
