It was happenstance that we became friends through work. Neither of us were expecting anything more than a friendship. But the more we shared music, podcasts, and TV shows, the more we found we enjoyed each other's company. We'd say hello first thing in the morning at work and wave goodbye at the end of the work day. Everything fit together so easily that, after a couple months, there was no mistaking that a relationship was growing. We bought a house together after almost two years of dating. We introduced our cats to each other. We started to build our life together.
