Is dinner provided on Friday?

Answer

The bridal party (and +1) only have dinner at the Sheraton. There are a lot of great restaurants walking distance from the hotel. It will be a busy weekend, so we recommend making a reservation prior.

Is there a welcome reception?

Yes, from 7-10:30 on June 2 at the Portsmouth Brewery (in the side room, and outdoor area). Light apps provided.

Will there be transportation between the venue and the hotel?

Yes. Pick up time from the Sheraton is at 4pm. There will also be buses going back to the Sheraton.

My husband/ boyfriend is in the wedding, what time do they need to be at the hotel to get ready?

They need to be ready by 11:30 am ET. They need to be in the Groom Suite at 9 am ET.

To help us with our planning, we kindly ask that you RSVP by the date we have provided (April 18th), in order to provide accurate headcount to our vendors. If we did not receive your RSVP by the 18th, we will go ahead and mark you as unable to attend. We appreciate you understanding!

Is there parking at the wedding venue?

Yes. You can leave your car overnight but we need to let the events coordinator know if you are keeping your car there. You will need to pick up your car by 8am the next day.

If I am not staying at the Sheraton, can I still take the bus?

Yes, and the majority of hotels in Portsmouth are walking distance to the Sheraton!

Is there parking at the Sheraton?

Answer

Yes. However, it is $35 a night for valet. Across the street is $30 a night with your room key from the Sheraton. There is free parking at Parrott Ave. (186 spaces, 4 handicapped spaces) Parking at the Parrott Ave. Municipal Lot is free, however, the maximum time limit is 72 hours. Vehicles found parked longer than the maximum limit will be ticketed and towed.
