Friends and family, below are some details and information on how our wedding plans have changed since COVID19 impacted all of our lives in March. Before COVID hit, most of the wedding was already planned. Throughout the year, we watched the news and closely monitored local regulations to try to make an educated decision about our wedding festivities. In September, we made the difficult decision to change the size and scope of our original wedding. This included significantly decreasing our guest count to make sure all safety precautions are in place and local regulations are being followed. Our goal is and continues to be to press on with our originally intended date of December 19th! For the safety of our guests, we are required to keep the guest count to 40, so you can expect to be spaced out comfortably (the venue can hold 125 people). We are taking multiple precautions such as having plenty of hand sanitizer in all areas and all food and beverages will be served safely. We will be having a plated dinner. Our wedding has been submitted and approved by the Nashville Metro Health Department and will comply with all regulations. Guests will be asked to wear a mask while entering and exiting the venues. Once you are inside you are welcome to remove or keep it on - your choice. We do ask that guests remove masks during the wedding ceremony to allow us to see everyone's faces and to have mask-free photos. All event staff will be wearing masks throughout the evening. We hope that everyone feels safe and comfortable attending our wedding, but understand the severity of the current pandemic and respect everyone’s decision to do what is best for them and their family. If you have any questions, please let us know! All our love, Drew and Emily
Funny enough, we met at a mutual friend's wedding in Greenville, SC- thanks Brad and Cov! At the time, Drew lived in Washington, DC and Emily lived in Baltimore, MD. After meeting we went on a date in Baltimore the next weekend and the rest is history. We got a dog, Emily moved to DC, then we made the move to Nashville together in April of 2019. We are thrilled to grow our lives together!
Drew popped the question at Arrington Vineyards outside of Nashville the day before Thanksgiving 2019! We were hosting both sides of the family and were excited to celebrate the moment with our parents.
