Great walk around the island.  About 1.5 miles.  Great views and way to see Newport Harbor

Balboa Island

We went here on our second "first date".  Needless to say it is breathtaking.  Beach walk for easy walk, up the hill and take "poles" trail back to sweat it out

El Moro Canyon Trail

Fashion Island

Inspiration Point

Watch bodysurfers ride big waves.  Chris famously made the 5pm news on KTLA in 2009 during the July 23rd-24th swell.  Requires a S / SSW Swell, will happen usually around the full moon cycle mid July.  Swell dependent, check surfline.com prior

Favorite local surf break.  Experienced swimmers only

Surf Salt Creek Beach (Dana Point)

Medium priced Golf course, great track and in good shape.  Views of the hills in Irvine

Strawberry Farms Golf Club

Great Course.  South recommended for ocean views.  Expensive Golf option, but best public course in the area
