Red's Eats
The "prettiest little village in Maine", Wiscasset, doesn't have traffic lights, but is does have the best lobstah roll in the USA. It also has the longest wait, so bring a friend and explore this cute town while you take turns in line.
Boothbay Harbor
A cute village about 1 hr north of Portland and 30 minutes south of the wedding weekend. Enjoy local shops, galleries, boat rides, kayaking, fishing trips, and whale watching.
Camden
This town is basically what comes to mind when someone says "coastal Maine." Trails line the slopes at Camden Hills State Park, with views of Camden Harbor and the bay from Mount Battie. Curtis Island, with its 1830s lighthouse, is in the harbor.

Breakfast and lunch Wednesday thru Sunday - plus the best pies around.
Pemaquid Beach
White sandy beach with great views, a food stand, and outdoor showers. Lots of parking ($5), and a great way to cool down on a hot day.
Damariscotta River Cruises
Fun boat tours down the Damariscotta River - we did the oyster tour and had a great time. They also run happy hour and seasonal tours.
