Question

Where will the ceremony and reception be?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be at Belle Mer Island House at 2 Goat Island Road, Newport, RI 02840. The ceremony will be held outside (weather permitting!) and reception will be held indoors.

What is the wedding dress code?

Answer

Our wedding is black tie optional! The groom and groomsmen will be wearing tuxes, and other wedding guests are welcome to wear a tux if they would like but this is not required. For ladies we recommend floor length or cocktail dresses. Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be on grass, so please be aware of this when selecting your footwear!

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony starts at 3:30pm, so we ask that guests arrive by 3:15pm at the latest to ensure you find your seat in time for the start of the ceremony. Please be aware our venue will not permit late arrivals to the ceremony!

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes. Bus pickup/drop off will be available at three locations: Sonesta Select Hotel, Hampton Inn & Suites, and Perrotti Park in downtown Newport (details on timing to come).

Will parking be available at the venue?

Answer

Yes, if you choose to drive yourself to the wedding the venue offers free parking for the evening/overnight.

Are children invited to attend?

Answer

Our wedding will be adults-only. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!
