We've shelved plans a few times already over the past year and a half, and were hesitant to spend a lot of money on expensive Jackson Hole venues. Soon after making an offer on our cabin, we decided that if we were lucky enough to get it, we'd have our wedding there in the fall. So, it's all come together quite quickly! If you aren't able to make it, we hope you will consider planning a visit to the area sometime in the future. We love sharing this beautiful place!
No. We will not be offended if you can't make a trip to the middle of nowhere or simply don't want to come. We are introverts too.
We will not require proof of vaccination, but through personal knowledge we are not aware of any guests who are not at least partially vaccinated. Regardless, COVID-19 has been known to ruin a good time, even for the vaxxed and relaxed. So we ask all guests to please take extra safety measures when traveling and during our events. Please plan to wear a mask: When indoors with any number of people. When in a vehicle with someone else. When self-serving from food/beverages stations. When hugging or close-talking with someone. When you have stuff in your teeth.
There are usually light snow showers this time of year, but not much (if any) accumulation. 46 Wind River should be easily accessible in a standard 2WD sedan. If not, we'll be working to coordinate clearing snow and/or group transport from the highway!
Welcome party, ceremony, and reception will all be outdoors - rain/snow or shine. Please prioritize warmth and weather resistance over style. In particular, ensure you plan for footwear that is warm, comfortable, and appropriate for varied terrain. Heels or leather-soled dress shoes are not good choices.
