Our wedding will take place at the Pines of Genesee wedding venue, with our ceremony being outdoors on the Evergreen Wedding Terrace. Afterwards, the cocktail hour and reception will be in the lower level of the Pines. We have two hotel blocks reserved in Golden, CO, but you are welcome to stay wherever you like. We can't wait to celebrate with everyone in the beautiful mountains of Colorado!

We found each other on Tinder, only a month after Mike moved back to Albuquerque from Colorado Springs, which was truly a twist of fate. We talked for about a week or two and then set up a first date, bonding over our love of Colorado and outdoorsy activities. On our first date we enjoyed dinner and wine, ultimately enjoying each others company so much we continued the date at a local brewery. We spent the next four nights hanging out and getting to know each other, quickly realizing how easy it was to be together. Within a few weeks we were inseparable and both knew this was made to last!

For Mike's birthday, we went camping up near Eagle Nest, NM, spending two days in a tent and "roughing it" outside. We then traveled to Angel Fire, NM where we met up with our friends Miles and Sheyanne to stay in an AirBNB for the next 2 days. We played games, drank, and adventured throughout the weekend. The cabin we rented had a beautiful upper loft area with a "360 degree lookout tower" that had glass paneling all around the small room. The room was filled with cozy benches and books, and it was absolutely dream-like. The final morning, Mike suggested we go up to the lookout tower to take a final group picture. At the top of the stairs, Mike was standing next to a bucket with a bottle of Devon's favorite champagne and holding something in his hands. He got down on one knee and Devon said yes! We celebrated with glasses of champagne and toasted to the adventures ahead!
