Where is the Ceremony & Reception located?

The ceremony and reception will be held at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park 1000 East Beltline Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525

What time should I arrive?
Answer
Guests are welcome to arrive early and enjoy the gardens prior to the ceremony. Seating will open at 5:00 PM, and the ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 PM. Please note that entry will not be permitted once the ceremony has started, so we kindly ask that you plan to arrive with enough time to be seated comfortably.

Is there parking available at the venue? Is it wheelchair accessible?
Answer
Yes, there is open parking available at Frederick Meijer Gardens. The parking area is quite spacious, and it's just a short walk to the entrance.

RSVP deadline?- JUNE 1st
Answer
Please RSVP by June 1st. To help us plan a seamless celebration, please submit your RSVP by June 1st through our wedding website. This allows us to finalize an accurate guest count for the reception. Kindly note that late responses cannot be accommodated, and RSVPs must be completed online, text messages or verbal confirmations will not be accepted. Thank you for helping us make this day special!

Can I bring a date?

We wish we could invite everyone! To keep our celebration intimate, we are only able to include the guests listed on your invitation. If your invitation includes a guest, their name will appear there. Thank you for respecting our wishes and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Are children allowed?
Answer
Unfortunately NO. The ceremony and reception is for ADULTS ONLY, outside of our nieces and nephew involved directly in the wedding.

What if I can no longer attend?
Answer
Although we would love for you to be in attendance, we understand life happens. In the event that you can no longer attend, please notify us as soon as possible.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Formal, Black Tie or Cocktail attire preferred NO: T-shirts, jeans, sneakers exposed clothing or mini dresses.

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
To start off the night, each guest will receive two complimentary drink tickets to enjoy a beverage of your choice, this includes alcoholic or non-alcoholic. After that, a cash bar will be available beginning at cocktail hour (6:00 PM) through last call before the reception wraps up at 11:00 PM. 🥂

Can we explore the Sculpture park during the reception?
Answer
Yes! The gardens and sculpture park will be open for guests to explore at your leisure during cocktail hour and the reception. Enjoy the beautiful scenery!
