At this stage in our lives, we’ve been more focused on building our careers and home life. Coming from large families spread across the country, planning a wedding that involved everyone without breaking the bank felt overwhelming and impossible. We wanted our wedding day to feel truly special, so we chose to keep it private and intimate. However, we’re excited to celebrate with everyone in the future! Hosting a reception down the road will give everyone the time and space to make accommodations and join us for a proper celebration.
We got married on June 9, 2024, in Utah, surrounded by our parents and immediate family who were able to join us. It was a peaceful and intimate day, allowing us to focus on each other and the vows we were making.
Our original wedding photographer, who was also a friend, disappeared into his own world with no communication whatsoever for several months after our wedding. When we finally received the photos, they were devastatingly poor and didn’t capture the special moments we had envisioned. It was heartbreaking, and we were in complete shock. We didn’t know how to tell anyone or how to announce our wedding in that kind of energy—it just didn’t feel right. Thankfully, an amazing and incredibly kind photographer stepped in to help us. She was so sweet, professional, and lovely to work with, and she went above and beyond to retake our photos. She beautifully recaptured the magic of our wedding day, allowing us to relive those moments and finally share them with the love and joy they deserve. Thanks to her, we’re so excited to finally announce this chapter in our lives and celebrate with all of you!
It’s been quite the adventure! We started in California, where we met, then made our way to Arizona for a new chapter. Eventually, David’s incredible career shift brought us to Utah, where we’ve decided to settle down—for now! Each move has been a whirlwind of new opportunities and experiences, and we’re so excited to see where life takes us next.
