It all started on a warm summer night in 2018 at a friend’s house, sitting in the back of a pickup truck. We met through mutual friends, and although it felt like just another carefree summer night, it quickly became the moment that changed our lives forever. Over the next year, we talked like most teenagers do, getting to know each other, laughing a lot, and realizing how easy it was to be together. On July 20, 2019, we decided to make it official. Monyia was still in high school, and Keith had just graduated. While Keith continued farming and began running his businesses full-time, Monyia focused on finishing school and continuing her education. Summers quickly started to become our favorite, holding some special memories. Dancing by the fire, staying up late in long conversations, and falling more in love with each passing day. Through school, work, sports, teenage love, major life decisions, and even the hard moments, we continued to choose each other. We grew up together, side by side. Every challenge only made us stronger. In the summer of 2025, Keith finally asked the question Monyia had been (not-so-subtly) asking about for a few years. It was a moment we had both dreamed of, and of course, she said yes. Now here we are almost 7 years later, getting ready to start our next chapter as husband and wife. We’ve gone from teenage sweethearts to lifelong partners. Our hearts are full, and we are absolutely over the moon to spend the rest of our lives together.
