Things To Do

If you're staying with us in Danbury, you'll find yourself at the intersection of Putnam (NY), Westchester (NY) and Fairfield (CT) counties -- each with something a little bit different to do. The drive west via New York state highways through the hills and toward the Hudson River is an attraction in and of itself. But if you're looking to make some stops, here's what we'd suggest!

Countryside Kitchen

493 U.S. 6, Mahopac, NY 10541
, (845) 803-8420

Start your day with some breakfast. Home of The Famous Holy Cannoli Pancake!

Muscoot Farm

Muscoot Farm

51 New York 100, Katonah, NY 10536
, (914) 864-7282

The farm is open all year round and has seven miles of hiking trails. Visitors can walk through the dairy barn, milk house, ice house, blacksmith shop and several other barns and buildings. Look out for Scotch Highland cows there -- our favorite kind of coo!

Katonah Avenue

Katonah Avenue

Katonah Avenue, Katonah, NY 10536

Walk downtown Katonah for great shopping and cafes.

Reverie Brewing Company

Reverie Brewing Company

57B Church Hill Road, Newtown, CT 06470
, (203) 872-2124

Head east of Danbury for several craft breweries -- Reverie among them.

Hudson Highlands State Park Preserve

Hudson Highlands State Park Preserve

3260 NY-9D, Cold Spring, NY 10516

A 7,400 acre state park located on the east side of the Hudson River. The Cornish Estate Trail is a 1.8 mile out and back hike rated as 'Easy' on the All Trails app. The trail ascends to the Stern-Cornish Estate ruins.
