Ian doesn't remember...
It was a brisk spring night on Emmett Ave in Morristown. Ian and Carly enjoyed a fun night together talking and laughing. Ian made the rookie mistake of not asking Carly for her number. Weeks later, Carly and Ian ran into each other during a night out at Beachcomber in Seaside Heights. From there, Carly and Ian enjoyed Morristown happy hours, a first official date at the driving range, peach picking at Wightman Farms, and many cidery and brewery visits.
After enjoying a special Valentine's Day dinner, Ian and Carly finally exchanged I love yous.
Ian and Carly took their first vacation together to the Azores, Portugal. They enjoyed exploring the Azorean jungles, relaxing in hot springs, and eating endless seafood by the ocean. Carly escorted Ian around the island because Ian was still working on learning how to drive stick shift.
Ian and Carly moved into a fixer upper on a lake in Kinnelon and began updating the house, one room at a time. They learned to work as a team as Carly designed and Ian executed to make their house into a home. They love ice skating on the lake when it freezes in the winter. In the summer they enjoy swimming, fishing, and kayaking. We all know about Ian's bear encounter, but Carly had her own in the woods by the lake!
We welcomed Oakley into our family just before Christmas. We watched hours upon hours of Zac George dog training videos to prepare for his arrival. Oakley is the perfect mix of cuddles and energy. We're hoping he can make a special appearance on our big day!
No no... Ian faked us all out as everyone thought he would propose on this trip to Bermuda. Keep Scrolling.
Maine has always been a special place to both the Montini and Bohman families. Ian knew it was the perfect place to get down on one knee. On the rocky coastline of York, in front of the Nubble lighthouse, Ian asked Carly to marry him. Carly said yes :)
Ian and Carly, along with their families, are so excited for you to be a part of their story on their wedding day as they begin the next chapter!
