When should I arrive in Hood River?
Answer
We want you to enjoy your stay in Hood River. The area offers plenty to see, do, and explore. If that means arriving several days in advance, have at it! We would recommend you plan your travel to arrive in Hood River no later than Saturday July 12th. This well help ensure there are no travel delays encountered getting to town. Once you've arrived, relax and take in the views!

Can I park at the wedding venue?
Answer
The wedding venue is perched atop a 300 ft. cliff overlooking the beautiful Columbia River gorge. As such, the venue has extremely limited parking and unfortunately, guests will not be able to park at the venue. We have arranged a shuttle service to take guests to the venue. The shuttle service will run from Covenant Hood River (Church) parking lot to the Griffin House. Covenant Hood River's address is 455 Frankton Rd, Hood River, OR 97031. We've coordinated with the church, and you can park and leave your car in their parking lot for the duration of the wedding but not overnight. The shuttle schedule is as follows: Depart Covenant Hood River Parking Lot: - 3:55 PM -4:05 PM -4:10 PM Depart Griffin House: -10:00 PM -10:10 PM -10:20 PM The shuttle has a capacity of 40 adult seats, with additional standing room. The shuttle will leave on time and will maintain a tight schedule. There will be no additional shuttles after 4:15 PM, the ceremony starts at 4:30 PM sharp. Guest cannot arrive to the venue prior to 4:00PM, the gate will be closed. Additionally, guests will have the ability to take an Uber to and from the venue if absolutely required. We’ve been informed that Uber is new to the area, so supply may be very limited. Additionally, Uber will unable to access the venue driveway until open at 4:00PM. If you need to park at the venue for personal reasons, please reach out to Mike or Melissa and we will do our best to accommodate. We need to get approval from the venue in advance, so please give us as much notice as possible.

We've arranged for you to be able to park at Covenant Hood River (Church). You can leave your car there for the duration of the wedding. Overnight parking is not permitted. Covenant Hood River 455 Frankton Rd, Hood River, OR 97031

What if I need to leave early?
Answer
Guests are highly encouraged to stay for the entire wedding, we want you to enjoy your time and see us off! If you have to leave early outside of the shuttle times, you are welcome to coordinate an Uber or other rideshare service. As a reminder, Uber is new to the area so there may not be a lot of drivers available.

Are guests allowed to bring children?
Answer
While we love all children dearly, we kindly ask that only family members of the bride and groom bring their children to the wedding. If you need special accommodation, please let Melissa or Mike know. We appreciate all of you accommodating our special day!

The dress code for the wedding is semi-formal: cocktail attire, suits, and dresses are welcome (no shorts or flip-flops). Please anticipate a windy warm venue.
