Morgan and William were both attending High Ropes training at Camp Horizon during spring break March of 2016 when they officially met. From the beginning they were friends but they both had no idea that eventually they would become each other's best friends! When the camp season started in May they both got along with each other really well. In July things started to click. One night they even stayed up all night just talking and hanging out with each other, that is when they both knew that they wanted to try dating. On the night of July 17, William decided to finally get the guts to ask Morgan the question. Together they went out to Inspiration Point just as the sun was setting and the lightning bugs were starting to come out and William asked Morgan to go out with him.... and of course, she said yes and the rest is history.

On New Year's Eve of 2017, William surprised Morgan with a nice dinner on the Plaza in Kansas City at The Melting Pot. All throughout that day, William was acting different and Morgan could tell something was up but she was not quite sure what it was. At dinner, William acted surprisingly chill witch threw Morgan off. When dinner was over William suggested to walk around the Plaza and look at Christmas lights for a while. The temperature was negative three though so Morgan thought he was crazy but she reluctantly agreed. While Morgan and William were walking, they stopped by a beautiful fountain outside the Intercontential Hotel. Whenever Morgan and William pass by fountains they like to make wishes with pennies so William gave Morgan a penny so she could make a wish. As Morgan turned around to make a wish William pulled the ring out of his pocket and her wish came true!
