Barbecue with beach games and activities for all ages! Hotdogs with all the fixins' will be served along with classic sides. Non-alcoholic beverages will be provided and feel free to BYOB as well. We expect good weather with temps in the 80s. Sun shades will be set up around the group spot. We can't wait to see you there! Carl Busse (Claire's dad) will be running a shuttle service with his 15-passenger van, nicknamed the "Busse Bus", throughout the weekend. A sign-up sheet will be posted at the Welcome Lunch and he is always available via his cell at 206-550-8032 for last minute requests/cancellations.

Flexible start time, join us whenever you finish your dinner and are ready for dessert! Come play board or lawn games and enjoy a family-friendly movie night under the stars. Movie snacks, beverages (including sodas, seltzers, and beers), as well as an ice cream sundae bar will be provided. Mosquitos occasionally visit the farm in the evenings, so bring your bug-proof garments if you tend to get bit; bug spray will be available. Cozy seating and blankets will be provided for the outdoor movie, but we recommend bringing an extra layer or two for when it cools down. Leave as early or as late as you like! Mr. Busse will be running a pick-up shuttle around the island at 6:30pm as well as a drop-off run around 10:30pm. 11:00 am - 2:00 pm
A delicious assortment of brunch food will be prepared by the queen of scrumptious breakfast foods, Emily Busse. Coffee, tea, and juice will be served. After brunch, enjoy a walk around the property, cuddle with the bunnies, play with the dogs, or kick back and relax. We ask that guests plan to spend time off the property by around 2pm so that the future Montgomerys and their helpers can complete the final wedding preparations. Holly Busse will be hosting a wedding-related arts-and-crafts project at her AirBnB that is welcome to all, and a nature/dog walk is also being planned (transportation for that will be provided in the Busse Bus). Please arrive at 4:00pm for the start of the WEDDING portion of the wedding weekend! We are asking each of you to write down a wish, quote, or piece of advice for our marriage and hang them from our wedding tree; you are free to sign your name or leave it anonymous. An assortment of fresh fruits and agua frescas will be provided. When you arrive at the property you will be greeted by the family dogs, likely followed by Justine, Claire's mom. You are free to text/call her at 206-819-3103 if you have any questions or difficulty finding the farm. For those that prefer not to drive, the "Busse Bus" shuttle service will be running for pick-up around the island at 3:30pm, as well as drop-offs at the end of the night. If you arrive by car, but decide you would like a ride home at the end of the night, please let Mr. Busse know, he is more than happy to have you on board! 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Emily will open the ceremony with a few words at 4:30pm. Kevin and Claire will exchange rings under the maple tree and then lead a procession with their wedding tree to its planting spot. Marina will close the ceremony and show you to the reception area. *See map note above.
6:00 pm
Taco buffet prepared by Claire and family will be provided in the reception area. A self-serve bar with an assortment of beverages (including sodas, seltzers, wine, beer and agua frescas) will be available outside the Red Garage. Post-dinner dancing and games will be held within and around the reception area and a fire pit with s'mores station will start outside the big barn around 9pm. Please take advantage of the polaroid and disposable cameras set out and we will share the memories in the weeks following the event when they are printed/collected. The "Busse Bus" shuttle service will be running for drop-offs at the end of the night. If you arrive by car, but decide you would like a ride home at the end of the night, please let Carl know, he is more than happy to have you on board!
