Scott and Emily met their junior year of high school. They first spoke at the Labor Day Fair in town before realizing they had almost all their classes together that year. They hit it off right away and spent countless hours flirting when they should've been doing homework (don't worry - Scott kept up his grades with a quick peek at Emily's papers). After encouragement from his friends, Scott asked Emily to the homecoming dance (awwww). They went together and went on to have more dates in the fall. They "officially" began dating on March 17, 2015 and the rest is history! #highschoolsweethearts

Back in high school, Emily and Scott decided that when they turned 25 they would begin a journey to visit all 50 states. In 2023, the time was here and they decided to take a trip to Maine. They traveled to Bar Harbor where they spent time exploring Acadia National Park. It was gorgeous! The last full day, they drove to the top of Cadillac Mountain, the first place the sun touches in the United States. There, Scott asked Emily to marry him (awwww). She, of course, said "YES!" We are so excited for you to join in our next chapter of life!
