We met at an Ugly Christmas Sweater party and really hit it off after winning multiple rounds of a game together. We went on our first official date to El Toro a couple of weeks later and never really stopped hanging out after that. 6 months after meeting we started dating on June 5th, 2017 and the rest is history!

We went on a small road trip to Daingerfield State Park while the weather was perfect! We spent the night in Tyler and woke up early on the 14th to check out the park. There was hardly anyone there and we picked a few of the trails to walk around. After a few hours of exploring, we made our way to the highest trail where there were plenty of trees and sunshine. We sat on a bench together and Jose popped the question :)
