[Update 9/24/2020] Our venue is operating at 50% capacity and thankfully our RSVP count and expected guests is well below this! With this in mind, we still encourage you to brink a mask and will still be prepared with plenty of hand sanitizer. Masks during our outdoor ceremony are not required (as it would be in a church) but are recommended. In order to keep you (and your food) safest you can expect a buffet style dinner with screen barriers. We hope this information helps! [Update 7/14/2020] Your health and safety is important to us so we encourage all guests to bring a mask. We will have hand sanitizer available at various locations, tables will be properly distanced, and our wait staff will be instructed to take proper safety precautions based on the industry directives. We continue to monitor the situation and will know more once our event date gets closer. Please be sure to check back here routinely for added COVID-19 updates.
Yes! We love children, and our special day wouldn’t be the same without our own nieces and nephews who hold large pieces of hearts. Your children have been included in your RSVP count; please include them if they will be joining us.
We have taken into account the number of seats to be reserved for our family members, friends, and all those who have been extended an invitation. Your RSVP card will note this.

Whichever works for you. RSVPs via our wedding website are for easy access and in case you lose your RSVP card. You can RSVP under the "RSVP" tab. We have decided to allow guests to RSVP to both “Wedding Ceremony” and “Reception” separately since we realize some may want to limit themselves to one event/location due to COVID. Be sure to RSVP to either or both! *you can write a little note on your RSVP card if mailing in, if this is the case* No matter how you RSVP, we kindly ask that you do so as soon as possible after receiving your invitation as this will help us in our planning.
Our church ceremony location has CHANGED! Due to COVID-19, we have chosen to move our ceremony outdoors at the civic center. This will allow better airflow and space between guests. Your health and safety matters to us, and so does your presence on this special day.
The reception (and celebration/dance) will be held indoors at Sgtt. Willie De Leon Civic Center in Uvalde, TX.
Yes. Room blocks have been reserved at three (3) different hotels in Uvalde for your convenience. Please reference the 'Travel' tab for these details.
Unfortunately there will NOT be. If you are traveling alone, please drink responsibly. Don't drink and drive! Hotels are only a few minutes away.
Semi-casual attire
As of today (Thursday, September 24th) it looks like the day will be beautiful. Let's pray it stays that way!
There is a parking lot to the left of the civic center right across from Walgreens. This is the main parking.
We are kindly asking our guests to be mindful and respectful of our photographers/videographers that have been hired for this very special day. It's important to us that the best moments are experienced and captured without interruption. With that said, try your best to refrain from phone pictures.
Cocktail hour will begin at 4:30 PM. This will allow the couple, wedding party, and close family members enough time to take photos and join guests at the venue to begin the reception.
YES! Guests are allowed to bring in liquor and wine bottles, though they MUST stay on/at the tables at all times. Beer cans (not bottles) are allowed. All per venue policy.
An official wedding registry has been created at Target, Amazon, and Bed, Bath & Beyond. Zola (our website publisher) makes it extremely easy to access and purchase not only ALL items on the official registries but also additional items the bride and groom have linked. Head over to the 'Registry' tab to view.
