it's finally happening

We met for the first time through our best friend, Cody. Ryan was Cody's "wingman", but Ryan and I realized, at a very young age, that we loved each other (Cody is the most kind, understanding person who still chooses to be our greatest friend to this day. Love you, Cody). We began dating on August 8th, 2010. We were young and completely captivated by each other. Ryan and I dated until our sophomore year of high school. We continued on and off, but time never seemed to be on our side. Fast forward six years later and we still seemed to have each other on our minds. I reached out to Ryan, and he instantly replied reciprocating the same feelings. We have been together ever since. Finally, God has given us the right time to be together, and we are forever grateful.

Once the Tennessee rain finally let up, Ryan and I spent the day exploring nature outside. We first went to Pearson's Spring Park, one of Ryan's favorite childhood parks. We then traveled up to the Parkway in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Close to Look Rock, we ventured to our favorite cliff spot with a beautiful sunset view of the mountains that we both grew up loving. Ryan asked me the question that both of us have been waiting years for. Of course, I said "yes." We are so excited to spend the rest of our lives together and glad you all could be apart of it See you all in August!
