Absolutely! If your children are listed on the invitation, we’d be delighted to have them join us! However, just to keep things simple and focused on family, we kindly ask that this event remains a family-only celebration. We’ll save the friend invites for another time!
Well, that’s the beauty of the Pacific Northwest—it's a bit of a mystery! In August, we’re usually treated to sunny skies and warm weather, so you can expect some lovely summer vibes. But, because we’re in the land of rain, we can never fully rule out a little drizzle, just to keep us on our toes! So, we recommend coming prepared for both sunshine and a potential sprinkle. A cute jacket or an umbrella might be a good idea, just in case the weather decides to keep things interesting. Either way, it’ll be a beautiful day no matter what!

The reception is outdoors, so you’ll be walking on a mix of gravel and grass. We recommend bringing a comfy pair of shoes to change into later. If you’re planning on wearing heels, consider getting heel protectors to help keep them from sinking into the grass. You can easily find them on Amazon.

Yes, yes, yes! We definitely recommend booking early. Summer weekends fill up fast, especially at our preferred hotel, Suquamish Casino and Resort, which tends to sell out quickly because of all the special events happening in the area. Better safe than sorry—book now, and you’ll have one less thing to worry about later!
