We were introduced by a mutual friend, Tamar Lindenfeld, who was at a bar watching the Rangers' Game with Steve, Seth, and her husband Yoni. Tamar thought that Steve and Sarah could potentially be a good match, so she connected us, and the first date was planned! After a first date where Sarah shared that she was moving to NJ in a few weeks, and Steve came across as "quiet," we decided to go out again, and never looked back. Since that day in May 2017, we have traveled all over and fallen more and more in love! We've been camping in Kerhonksan and Lake Placid, traveled to Costa Rica, Mexico City, Cooperstown, San Francisco, Denver/Boulder, Barcelona, Venice, Seattle, Vancouver, Upstate NY, and, of course, London and Scotland.

After a "fake out" proposal in London, where Steve told Sarah he had an important question for her, got down on one knee, pulled out two ring pops, and asked if she'd prefer blue raspberry or watermelon, Sarah was more than ready for an engagement the next day in Scotland. Steve kept his cool despite a delayed flight and a lengthy process at the rental car counter, did an amazing job driving on the wrong side of the road, and got us safely to Urquhart Castle on Loch Ness, where he arranged for a professional photographer to capture our special moment. While we can't remember the exact words from the engagement, we do recall Steve asking Sarah "Will you marry me?" Sarah's reply of "For real this time?" and Steve's answer of "This is not a ring pop!" Luckily, given that we still had a week left in Scotland, Sarah said yes, and the rest is history!
