We're so excited to celebrate with you!

We met after school while walking home with our friends each in our own world. Then we all noticed something on the ground while Monse yelled "it's a beetle" and David responded "what, that's a flower". We stared at each other confused and laughed while walking our separate ways. Little did we know a beetle was going our conversation starter!

After talking for a few weeks following our initial meeting, we instantly became good friends. We talked everyday and our two friend groups began meeting during school. During lunch, David decided to ask me to be his girlfriend right before the bell rang for fifth period. I said "yes, see you after class" and proceeded to walk away. (I was excited and nervous so my awkwardness kicked in lol)

On the night of our six year anniversary, David along with our family had set up a plan where he was going to ask me to become his wife. We went to dinner then went to our next stop, my nina's house to cut a cake for my sister's early birthday. Little did I know what I was walking into. Me entirely confused because they insisted we enter through the side of her house proceeded to walk to the house. We got to the gate and heard our song playing when everything began to click and I instantly started to ball my eyes out. We walked the path he created with candles until we got under the gazebo set up with light and picture from the six years we had been together! He pulled to the middle where he began his speech and then went down on one knee and proposed! Of course I said yes as I continued to cry and our family came out to congratulate us being engaged! We are so excited now to celebrate with all of you as we begin this next chapter of our lives! Hope to see you all soon!
