Winslow has been a large part of our relationship from the very beginning. It is a small town with very few people and a lots of tourists in the summer. There is fishing, sightseeing, and, of course, the famous Route 66. Personally, we can recommend the Winslow Hotel as it is the newest and has been very accommodating, and not to forget, the beds are very soft. We would also recommend looking into Airbnb. The prices can range dramaticlly and are plentiful in this tourist town with modern features in some homes. If you are looking to stay outside of Winslow, Flagstaff is just a short 40 minutes away with a lot more options. Please be mindful that it may be snowing the week of the wedding. A route we have spent our time on is the AZ 87, just north of Happy Jack. We could not recommend more than taking the journy up or back home using the AZ 87 route. The most breathe taking veiws and wildlife can be found on this road. Keep in mind, Internet service is minimal.
