Lolly and I met on the first day of law school orientation and it was best friend love at first sight. Our favorite joke to tell Kyle Evan is that she and I fell in love first...first in time, first in right! She is and always will be my girlfriend soulmate.

Sam and I met on the first day of graduate school orientation at UCI. We quickly became friends and eventually became roommates; helping each other through the perils of Grad School every step of the way. He has been there from the beginning of Monique and I's entire relationship and he will always be one of my great friends.

Amy and I met for the first time in Las Vegas for a girls' trip during law school. I was introduced to her by Lolly and we immediately clicked. She has been my ginger bestie ever since and I adore her immensely!

Aaron was my grad school laboratory mentor and my lunch date almost every day for four years while in grad school. I am honored to have learned so much from him. He continues to be a great friend today despite moving away to Washington.

Juanita and I had almost every single class together in high school and even worked next door to one another at Petsmart and Chick-fil-a! She is a selfless best friend and would give you the shirt off her back if you asked. I am blessed to know her.

Jeremy has been my best friend since we first met in middle school. Despite him moving to Arizona in High School and Boston for undergraduate, we continued to make sure we always remained in touch. Proving that no amount of distance can stop us from countless adventures, stories, and inside jokes.

Ma meilleure amie française! Alexandra is my best french friend and pen pal. We met as kids during summer tennis camp and wrote letters back and forth during the rest of the year. Although she lived in France and I lived in the states, nothing could come between our friendship.

A great friend that I met during our UCI graduate program orientation. Whether it was closing down the UCI pub, golfing, or playing cribbage at his apartment, Ryan was always there to hang out. Monique and I also enjoyed going to beer festivals or BBQing with him and his wife, Angelene.

The very first friend I made at my sorority Alpha Delta Pi, Tracy and I were two peas in a pod during college. Tray Dawg, Tray Tray, or Meow Meow's Fairy Godmother, she is my gaucho for life, olé! Tracy is the "sister" I never had but always wanted!

A childhood friend that has been such a huge influence in my life. Alex has always been that adventurous friend who knows how to have fun and keep a positive attitude. As young kids we were always interested in engineering new projects, whether it be building a plywood/trash bag/leaf blower hovercraft which we towed with his electric scooter or to building catapults while at UNR, which I have no doubt laid the foundation to each of our career paths today.

This bike-2-the-beat babe and I met during spin classes. Who knew my first big time lawyer job would be working at the same firm as her! Cassie is a wonderful work-out buddy, mentor, and friend. Everything I have learned about being a great attorney I have learned from her.

Outdoor extraordinaire Brian is my cousin in law. I first met Brian on one of my frequent visits to San Diego to visit my Aunt Debbie, Uncle Doug, Danah, and Devon for a traditional Sunday family "Kyle's coming to visit" steak dinner. He quickly became part of the our family and we have enjoyed going on many outdoorsy activities together.

Janelle c'est moi! She is my older brother Derek's girlfriend and over the years she and I have become very close. Her beauty and style amazes me, and any chance I get I go to her for fashion tips. She has a beautiful soul and will make a beautiful bridesmaid!

A great friendship formed on the first day of our UCI graduate school orientation. Whether it was our marathon study/problem set sessions in vacant classrooms or watching Van Damme movies at his apartment, Jason always helped keep everything upbeat (after we made sure he had a healthy supply of coke zero of course). We continue our friendship outside of grad school with house BBQs and dinner dates with him and his wife, Masha.
