Ricci and Monique met freshman year at the University Of Maryland Eastern Shore. Two 18 year olds away from home for the first time. After our initial conversation was in the TV room of the freshman dorm. We bonded over our common love of dance and poetry. We spent our college years sharing laughs, heartbreak and dreams. we cheered together and pledged together joining Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority in the fall of 1981.
Carl Gross
Best Man
Ray's younger brother, captain, sailor and all around life of the party. We affectionately refer to him as "the mayor". It's hard to go anywhere with Carl and not run into someone Carl knows. This even happened once in Hawaii!

My childhood friend, partner in crime, the Ethel to my Lucy. My son's godmother. We met in six grade. She was the quiet shy girl in the room. I was the terrified new girl at school. We started talking and became BBF's. I had the honor of being her maid of honor.
