Jasmine Euell

Maid of Honor

I'm the bride’s sister, going by Jasmine thanks to a six-year old Monique’s appreciation for Aladdin. I like to say we did not really get to know each other until we lived together as adults. Even so, my sister has always been one of my loudest and most consistent supporters, always making the effort to be present. With that, some of my favorite memories together are the ones that continued to evolve over the years. From roll-on lip gloss, making up silly songs, and being the first client in her braiding boutique to the random nights of make-up, cocktails, and karaoke. Now I get to witness one of the most caring and genuine people I know start a new and exciting journey.

NyJah Sterling

Matron of Honor

My name is NyJah Sterling, and I’ve had the joy of knowing Monique for about 18 years. We met at Ebenezer through Pathfinders and have been inseparable ever since. Some of my favorite memories are of our sleepovers, staying up late talking about life, our walks to the Nautical Mile from her house, carpooling to church events, stepping at church basketball games, her doing my hair, and signing during church services. We spent most of our weekends together growing up, and she’s been by my side for nearly every major life event to this day. I’m so incredibly blessed to call her family.

Sarina Campbell

Matron of Honor

My name is Sarina Campbell and I've been blessed to know Monique and Oneil since Fall of 2010. Monique brings a special light and a whole lot of magic to my life. I'll always be grateful that Este introduced us freshmen year. I can’t pinpoint one memory because my entire adult life includes Monique’s special touch. Sharing her with Oneil was a no-brainer because I knew the kind of man he was from college. We became close friends at OU and he was one of few people I could always count on. I'd describe him as solid and intentional. No matter how much time went by I knew he would always have my back and that has not changed. I felt like I hit the lottery when my best friends found each other! Like, lucky me!! I was blessed to know them separately but now I’m witnessing a partnership I believe in with all my heart. Love that for myself! And of course, love you too!

Ayanna Charles

Bridesmaid

My name is Ayanna, Monique’s cousbae bestie ! I love everything about Monique and one of my favorite experiences with Monique would definitely just be the evolution of us becoming more than cousins and truly best friends. I love our weekend calls of us drinking tea and foreshadowing our future and the amazing bond that she has with my children and how they light up when they see her the same way that I do. I am honored to be your cousbae for life and watch you in this next chapter of your life !

Veneshia Gallimore

Bridesmaid

Monique and I first met at church, which naturally laid the foundation for a friendship—and sisterhood—rooted in shared values. Our bond deepened even more through our shared cultural background. We’ve been friends for over 20 years, creating countless memories along the way. One of my absolute favorites is from our trip to Aruba—sitting together on the shore, talking for hours. Neither of us can remember exactly what we said, but we both ended up in tears… and completely covered in sand. Monique, you are such a beautiful & rare soul. I am beyond excited to celebrate the union between you & Oneil.

Dr. Esté Alvernaz

Bridesmaid

My name is Esté and I’m lucky enough to have known Monique and Oneil for years now. I first met Monique in the fourth grade and she’s been one of my best friends since that day - from being roommates in college to being the godmother to my firstborn. Oneil and I met and became friends years later, while at Oakwood. They’re both such beautiful human beings and watching them meet and fall in love has been one of the greatest joys of my life.

LaTashia Morris

Bridesmaid

Hi!! I'm LaTashia, most people know me as Tashia. I've had the pleasure of knowing Monique for 15 plus years - which is impressive considering we still act like were 12 half the time. From being on the phone for hours singing in middle school to questionable fashion choices, we've seen it all together. I can't wait to be by her side to add another memory to the hundreds of others we already have together. I always knew it would take someone amazing (and patient lol) to keep up with her - Oneil, you're clearly up for the challenge! Time to Party!!

Dominique Plummer

Bridesmaid

Hi, I’m Dominique Plummer—wife, mom of two, and an aspiring BCBA. My journey with Monique isn’t just a story of friendship; it’s a testament to God’s perfect timing. Monique and I met at Oakwood University, and after two years of dealing with some not-so-great roommates, I was blessed with the best one of all—Monique. From the moment she stepped into my life, I knew God had sent her to me. We instantly clicked, sharing everything from late-night talks to spontaneous adventures, and I never let her go.

Jasmin Glass

Bridesmaid

I know the bride through sharing some really crazy & amazing times becoming coworkers to carpoolers in 2015, roommates from 2016-2018 & we haven’t parted since lol I know the groom formerly as “Roses” 🤭 because that was his name before he made it to Oneil. In the eeaaaaaarly courtship days he sent her some roses then next thing I know I’m hearing “I really like Roses!”, but because I know her I knew she already Loved him upon hearing this. A short few months later she came by to visit and told me she Loved him and that were already talking about their wedding plans now here we are 🥹🌹

Jalyn Sinclair

Bridesmaid

I'm Jalyn, the bride’s younger cousin. Growing up, Monique was like the big sister I never had. Someone I could count on for advice, laughs, and even some love. One of my favorite memories is the time she helped me clean up my cluttered room. She turned what felt like an impossible task into something fun and meaningful. She even got me to part with stuff I have been holding onto forever. That’s just one of the countless moments of who she is—supportive, thoughtful, patient, and full of heart. Always there when you need her. She’s always had that fun, fearless spirit. I’m so happy and excited to celebrate her and this new chapter in her life!

Germaine Grant, Esq

Best Man

Yooooo! I'm Germaine Grant, the brother and inspiration of Oneil and honored to be serving as one of his best men. I first met Oneil back in '94 on a warm August day. Since then, it has all been a blur of Atlanta Falcons propaganda, living room forts, debating, couch surfing, video games and anime. One random memory is our grandma stayed with us for awhile when we were little and she had a wheelchair we would play with. One day he was rolling around our neighborhood in it and got stuck on the curb. I tried my best but couldn't get him unstuck so I told him to get up. And he legit would not because people would know he in fact can walk.... So I left him there and went home. Eventually some community kids came by and got him unstuck and raced him on their bikes. So if you Oneil ever seems unreasonable and stubborn, its been that way for a loooong time.

Groomsman

Once upon a time many suns and moons ago, I was blessed to meet Oneil at church. We spent many a Saturday night racing the halls of the church back in Florida on metal bikes. We sharpened each others skills in various card games and competed in beyblades battles (modern day tops). We basically lived at each others house and when we weren’t visiting each other we were on the phone planning out the next super smash bros competition on the Gamecube. One day my family left Florida and I thought I would never get to see my best friend again but then he too came up to Tennessee and the friendship continued to flourish. Before I knew it we were in college together, and staying at “The Land” during the summers while we were off from school. So many years later my boy is getting married to his college crush! I’m so glad to be a part of such a great occasion for the future Grants.

Danny Morris

Groomsman

Since freshman year I’ve been blessed to know both Oneil And Monique. Having the brotherhood I do with Oneil makes being able to witness this union more special since he’s had a crush on her since… well forget and now they get to spend forever together. From random trips to the movies, staying out talking in the car for hours on end, to even making black cake together, Oneil has been a brother to me for years. I cannot confirm or deny if I soft bullied him to shoot his shot. Nor can I confirm or deny telling him he’d love FaceTime with his bride. What I can confirm is that it is my honor to witness these two confess their love for each other and watch them go on the path God has laid out for them. I love you both!

Dr. Robert Chiles

Groomsman

My name is Rob, and I've had the privilege of knowing Oneil since our freshman year at Oakwood University. From the very beginning, he was one of my first friends on campus, and over the years, that friendship has only grown into a lifelong bond. I’ll never forget the late-night basketball games with Oneil along with the “bros” at the Oakwood Academy court, the countless evenings filled with laughter in our college suites, or the long hours spent together in the Organic Chemistry Lab, trying to crack our Chemical Unknowns Project. Oneil is a man of unwavering character, deep loyalty, genuine kindness, and hands down the most knowledgeable person I know. I’m incredibly proud of everything he has accomplished, and I’m truly honored to be standing beside him on such a special day.

Dr. Josh Gollub

Groomsman

I went to pediatric residency with Oneil. I think my favorite memory with him is just doing a weekend day NICU shift with him and there wasn’t anything special with it. Just got to work and be with my best friend in the program and vibe and bond. Also make fun of how bad his notes were. I appreciate that whenever I have a tough case or crazy experience he is someone I can rely on to talk to about it and give his honest opinion in 3-5 weeks when he finally responds to my texts.

Jamie Campbell

Bride Announcer

My second home has always been in Georgia. Wherever Titi Mo lived was a place I felt safe. My parents trust Uncle O and Titi Mo more than most and that is saying a lot. You know how parents are. I remember when my Mom asked me if I thought Titi Mo would say yes to Uncle O’s proposal. I was skeptical because as far as I was concerned I’m her best friend. But she said yes so I’m excited for them. He’s grown on me. Did you know they came to my soccer game!? Anyway, I hope there’s candy and ice cream! See you there!
