Three months prior, Monique was at a kickback hosted by one of her neophytes. Monique saw O'Darius sitting on the couch by himself, and at the moment, he was the ONLY person in the room that she did not know. So, her being the outgoing (and/or tipsy lol) person she is. She went up to him and introduced herself. Little did she know, this was the guy who would be texting her phone. Fast forward to 3 months later, In December 2013, the month/year of Monique's graduation from Winthrop University, she was leaving the library after a long night of studying. At the moment, she had a flip phone because her iPhone was out of commission. There were no saved contacts in her phone (the struggle was real). As she was leaving the library, she received a text message from a random 803 number saying "Hey, this is O" (like she was supposed to know who "O" was). He then proceeded to send a picture of himself. Still, nothing... (crickets). Despite Monique not recognizing O'Darius, she sat on the phone with him for 4-5 hours watching the sun come up. After a week of contemplating her next step, Monique contacted O'Darius, and the rest was history. O'Darius proposed to Monique on August 3, 2018 at an all white dinner yacht party overlooking Toronto, Canada. It all started with a text. A text led to 5-years of dating, 1-year and 9 months of engagement, and a lifetime of love. #HintonForeverMOre
