Monique's POV: We met on a dating app while I was on a traveling assignment in Memphis. Dominique did not want to talk to me; he would leave me on read and hardly responded to me. He was always at my door after that, and he even took me to church once. When my contract was over, I thought we would end also, but instead Dominique packed everything and moved to Louisiana. Dominique's POV: I told my mother that we met at Bible Study, obviously that wasn't true. The first time Monique messaged me I talked to her for a while but the next day the conversation was dry. I left her on read for a few days then she double messaged me, and I had to respond. We talked about our hopes and dreams; she helped me pass my CDL exam. Then I found out she was moving back to Louisiana, and I couldn't take the idea of a long-distance relationship, so I packed up and went with her.
