Who knew July 10, 2010 would be the beginning of forever. We said our first hellos after being connected through a Facebook group designated for the Morgan State Class of 2014. Who knows what attracted us to one another, but from that moment we developed a  pretty cool friendship. We kept things pretty platonic, as we were both preparing to move to a brand new state and start new chapters in our lives. If you scroll through some of our first Facebook conversations you can catch a couple flirtatious hints that there was some chemistry there, but we weren't too serious in that way. Winter Break 2010 was when our friendship took an interesting turn with us becoming even closer, and by January 2011 we made the decision to make things official. January 25, 2011 to be exact. On again off again love was the name of the game. Through all the turmoil we always remained friends, and stuck by one another. 2014 was when the relationship became a little more serious, we knew we were in this for the long haul. Monique went to graduate school and Clarence worked to complete undergrad and maintain his role as an MSU Football player. Through all the major life changes we remained inseparable. Clarence' s graduation day finally came and celebration was in the air. On that day, May 21, 2017, Clarence made the public declaration that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Monique. The rest is history!
