Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport (Porto International Airport)

The nearest airport is in Porto, Portugal (OPO). Most of the direct flights are out of Newark, NJ. Please note that direct flights to Porto are not offered every day. You can also get crafty and do multi-city flights to see more of Europe and save money. For example, flying to Paris and then flying to Porto for a much cheaper price.

Getting to Quinta da Pacheca

The fastest and most convenient way to reach the Douro Valley from Porto is to drive approximately 1.25 hours east of Porto to the venue. We will be providing a shuttle service that will pick up guests in the city of Porto, and drop off guests at Quinta da Pacheca or the Delfim Douro Hotel on Friday 5/19. It will also drive back to Porto on Sunday 5/21. Exact location and time for shuttle pick up will be determined closer to the date. You can also take a train from Porto Campanha Station to Peso da Regua if you prefer that over a rental car or taxi. a short taxi will then bring you to your accommodations and in total will take roughly 2 hours.

Delfim Douro Hotel

Once the rooms at Quinta da Pacheca fill up, guests will have the option to stay at the Delfim Douro Hotel where we will provide a shuttle bus to and from the venue (about a 6 minute drive). If you would like a room at the Delfim Douro Hotel, please contact us directly so that we can reserve a room for you. The room block is for Friday 5/19 check in and Sunday 5/21 check out. If you would like to arrive earlier or depart later, please book the additional days on the hotel's website, and let us know.
