Our celebration takes place at Tudor Barn, Eltham, in Well Hall Pleasaunce Gardens. Guests are welcome to arrive from 12:30 PM for welcome drinks. The ceremony begins promptly at 2:00 PM, and access to the upstairs ceremony space closes at 1:50 PM. Once the processional begins, no additional guests may enter; thank you for helping us preserve the atmosphere and flow.
You can find more in-depth directions on our travel page, but for shorthand... By Train: From London Bridge, Cannon Street, or Charing Cross, take a Southeastern train toward the Bexleyheath Line, alighting at Eltham Station. The venue is approximately a 10-minute walk or a short taxi ride away. By Bus: Routes 161, 132, 286, and 314 stop within a few minutes’ walk of the park. By Car: Enter via Well Hall Road or Kidbrooke Lane. Please note that the venue is situated within a historical public park; the paths are dimly lit in the evening, so take care after dark and feel free to use your phone's torch if needed while exploring.
Yes — there are 25 on-site spaces. Guests wishing to park must submit their vehicle registration number at least two weeks before the wedding to secure a space. The road we recommend is Kidbrooke Lane; this road has no parking restrictions and offers a substantial amount of car parking space. Please note, however, that there is a barrier on Kidbrooke Lane when accessed from Well Hall Road. Subsequently, this road would need to be approached from Westhorne Avenue in order to access the full road. For everyone else, we recommend taxis, rideshares, or nearby public parking.
The venue has received all names, meal preferences, and dietary details in advance. We apologize that we’re unable to accommodate additional guests, swap-outs or plus-ones at this time, and the celebration will be an adults-only event. We truly appreciate your understanding as we strive to keep this day intimate and comfortable for all attendees.
Yes. The ceremony is held upstairs, but a stairclimber and assistance are available. If you or your guest requires assistance, please let us know in advance so staff can be ready to help.
Semi-formal or classic cocktail attire is encouraged; no flashy fabrics, sequins, or trainers. Please, no light colored dresses in the beige, tan, ivory, or white category.
We’d love for everyone to be fully present with us during the ceremony. Please keep phones on silent and tucked away, and kindly avoid standing in the aisle or taking flash photos. We also ask that ceremony photos not be shared online until the following day. It means the world to us to experience and share this moment privately first...the reception, however, is fair game!!
From 12:30 PM, we’ll begin the day in our cocktail bar and mingling before the ceremony begins at 2:00 PM. Please be seated upstairs at the ceremony site by 1:50 PM. After vows are exchanged, join us for cocktails, canapés, and conversation in the garden and pub. The Wedding Breakfast will be served at 4:00 PM, followed by cake and dessert, speeches, and a little breathing space before the dancing begins. As night falls, the music will rise, the bar will flow, and at 11:30 PM, we’ll end the evening with a final dance beneath the old timbers of the barn. **The barn has several quiet benches just outside the main entrance for anyone who might like a moment away from the music or noise.
Our caterers have prepared for all registered dietary requirements, sensitivities, and allergies. Please avoid switching meals or seats.
There is no formal cloakroom, but you’re welcome to leave coats or wraps on your reception chairs, or there will be coat racks once you enter that you may use as well.
Smoking is permitted only in the designated outdoor area beyond the main garden. Vaping is allowed on the grounds.
Your presence truly is the greatest gift. If you’d still like to mark the occasion, we kindly ask for gift cards or donations to our chosen charities; we’re happily set with everything our home needs at this stage of life, but IKEA, John Lewis or grocery gift cards are welcome.
A day-of contact will be provided closer to the event for any questions about parking, accessibility, or directions. We’ll share their details in our reminder email the week of the wedding.
