Answer

Our wedding will be held at the Riverhouse Lodge in Bend, OR. Bend is our favorite local vacation destination and we have taken multiple trips to this town each year since we started dating in 2019. We stayed at the Riverhouse Lodge (when it was still called the Riverhouse on the Deschutes) for Valentine's day in 2021 and fell in love with the location! We can't wait for you all to see it.

The Ceremony will begin at 4:00 PM. Please arrive by 3:45 PM to be seated in time. Cocktail Hour will follow at 4:30 PM, with the Reception beginning at 5:30 PM.

What is the dress code?What is the dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal attire. For example: floor-length, tea-length, or midi formal dresses; jumpsuits or wrap dresses; suit & tie; or dress pants with a button down shirt. Please no jeans or t-shirts. Also, please take into consideration that the ceremony area is grass and there will be about a 5 minute walk to the reception area. The weather can be unpredictable, however, typical temperatures in Bend in late May average high of 70 degrees to lows in the 30s. Please bring a coat or sweater. While there is no strict color scheme, if you would like to match our color theme, feel free to wear navy blue, baby/soft blue, or dusty rose/soft pink (not required).

Answer

The ceremony will be held outside on a flat, grassy area. There will be about a 5 minute walk to the cocktail hour, which will take place outside on a paved area. The reception will follow in the adjacent building inside a ballroom area.

What are the accommodation options?What are the accommodation options?

Our wedding will take place at Riverhouse Lodge in Bend, OR. We have a limited number of rooms blocked for our wedding. If you are interested in a room, please send us an email ASAP with your name, number of guests, and number of rooms/beds needed at moniqueandalex2025@gmail.com. There are many nearby hotel options available in a wide price range. We have some options listed on the Travel tab. Bend also has lots of different property options on Airbnb and Vrbo.

Will there be parking at the venue?Will there be parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! If you are staying on site at the Riverhouse Lodge, there will be complimentary parking by your room, and the ceremony is just a short walk away. There will also be a shuttle service provided from the Lodge to the ceremony area. If you will be staying nearby and driving to the venue, you can park for free at the Riverhouse Convention Center parking lot (it is on NW Rippling River Court, just up the hill from the Convention Center building). If you will be taking a taxi or Uber/Lyft, you can have them drop you off at the front of the Riverhouse Convention Center.

Answer

Unless otherwise specified on your invitation, children will not be invited. We encourage you to use this evening as a "night out" for yourself. Answer

We are only able to accommodate those formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, it will be detailed on your invitation and listed on your RSVP.

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we are asking for all devices to be silenced and put away during the ceremony. We have hired an amazing photographer, Hannah, to capture this moment for all of us! After the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many photos as you would like.

Answer

There will be an open bar during the cocktail hour and during the reception until 6:15 PM. Following that, beer and wine will be complimentary and cocktails will be available for an additional cost. Cash or card is accepted. Please do not bring any outside alcohol as it is prohibited.

Please notify us of any food allergies, intolerances, or dietary preferences with your RSVP. If you missed this step, please send an email ASAP to moniqueandalex2025@gmail.com so that special accommodations can be made with catering in time.

What if I miss the RSVP deadline?What if I miss the RSVP deadline?

Answer

If you do not RSVP by our April 15th deadline, you will be marked as "not attending" and you will not be accounted for in our total head count for food, drinks, dessert, seats, etc. The reason for this is that we must provide accurate guest counts to all our vendors within a timely manner. Thank you for your understanding.

We completely understand that unexpected things happen. Please let us know as soon as your plans change so that we can make the necessary updates with our vendors.
