The vibe is elegant summer attire - light fabrics, soft tones, and outfits you can move and celebrate in. Because our wedding is small (just ~25 of us!) and photos are such a special part of the day, we ask that guests avoid very bright colors (e.g., hot pinks, bright reds, neon yellows, etc). Muted or natural tones will help everything look beautiful and cohesive in photos, and will blend with the seaside setting.
We love that your family may want to join you on your Japan trip! While children are welcome to explore Fukuoka and Itoshima with you, we kindly ask that the ceremony and reception be adults-only.

There will be a plated traditional Japanese meal & reception after the ceremony.
