Welcome to Our Beginning

Our story begins in April of 2021 when we reconnected at a mutual friend’s wedding. Prior to the wedding we had not seen each other or spoken since 2017 (picture below). Fast forward to that April night, a group of us drove over to a local bar where we continued to wedding celebration and before parting ways we both agreed we should hang out but “for real for real.” The following month I drove out to McAllen to celebrate a friend’s birthday and decided to invite my soon-to-be husband out. He agreed and met me in a crowded bar on 17th street which we quickly ditched for one with less people. It wasn’t long before we both found ourselves asking each other why we were still single. And while we each had our own experiences that led us that exact moment, our response was the same, “I guess I just haven’t met the one.” With that we both smirked, took a sip of our beverages and called it a night. By June, we were crushing and by July we were walking downtown Houston declaring our love for each other under the stars. What a beautiful night that was. Call us crazy but when you know, you know, and boy did we know. It wasn’t long before we started talking about our future together and by November our hopes became reality. We announced our engagement followed by our pregnancy in December. And now here we are and we couldn’t be happier to share our love story with each of you!
