We're Getting Married!

Monie was working in Santa Clarita and decided to take a job in Thousand Oaks, both for the commute and 'to meet his future wife' as he mentioned to a friend. Becky was a single-mom working in Agoura Hills and driving a 10-year old car that looked like it had been tortured by possums. After some extra pushes from her boss, and a dear friend, Becky decided to go buy a new car. April 29, 2017 Becky walked into a Thousand Oaks car dealership. The sales manager she met first was leaving, and introduced her to the other sales manager on-site. Becky sat down at Monie's desk, one thing led to another, and the banter just kept flowing. After test driving 7 cars, Becky purchased a car that she never even test drove. Becky and Monie dated for a few months, enjoying their time alone and with Becky's son, Preston. She continued to fight what was happening, after all of her past heartache. After some time, Becky finally accepted the fact that she had fallen in love! Monie and Becky met when it was right for both of them and couldn't be happier about their future together! On May 23, 2018, Monie took Becky to Santa Barbara, where they had their first date, and got down on one knee to ask her to marry him.
