Ever since meeting freshman year at Illinois and spending countless hours at Kams, Richie and David have been best friends. In college they lived together for 6 semesters and for a year post-college in Wrigleyville during the Cubs' World Series in 2016. If you see Richie I can guarantee he will have a drink in hand, a smile on his face and likely making a new friend.

The groomsman David has known longer than anyone...his brother! Although 8 years apart Brent and David have always been close friends finding many things to enjoy together. Whether it's water skiing, watching and analyzing various sporting events or exploring the outdoors on vacation they are always having a great time together. If you see Brent, make sure to ask him about how David stole his seat while watching the Cubs game or who won all their wrestling matches!
Alli Miller

Alli and Monica met through their sorority in college and have been close friends for over a decade! After bonding over banana pepper pizza and matching PJ sets, it was clear this friendship was meant to be. Years later, the shared interests have only grown with book club meetings, shopping days, and having a favorite Formula 1 driver. Get excited to follow Alli out to the dance floor with a glass of Pinot and your best twirl!
Buck Martin

Like the rest of the groomsmen, Buck went to University of Illinois where he and David met freshmen year enjoying a few drinks and many games of FIFA. They lived in the same house through senior year and now both live in Chicago where they spend a great deal of time talking about Formula 1, Chicago sports and acting as co-commissioners for their fantasy football league.
Emmy Romer

Emmy and Monica also met through their sorority in college and have been close friends for over a decade! Emmy is a ~true & tried~ friend, having lived with Monica for three years and dealt with her cute little idiosyncrasies (dishes, etc.). Emmy and Mon are certified cat moms and love nothing more than a night in with their ladies, wine, and a fun (non-scary) movie. Ask her about her Spanish classes and adventures in Barcelona.
Dave Gilbert

Aside from Brent, no one has known David longer than Dave in the wedding party. Dave and David grew up together, did business case competitions in high-school, went to University of Illinois and were in the same fraternity, and now both live in Chicago. They enjoy trying all the new Chicago restaurants so if you are looking for a recommendation this is your guy!
Haley Sullivan

Haley and Monica (you guessed it) met through their sorority in college and have been close friends for over a decade. Our IU Marching Hundred gal is always good for a laugh - comedy shows, group text contributions, general fun-loving demeanor, you name it. Haley and Monica share a birthday weekend, an un-ironic love of country music, an interest in thriller novels, and a deep understanding of all the work that goes into wedding planning!

Matt and David have gone from living together second semester freshman year to now being on the same bocce team with Richie (best man) and his wife Karolina! Outside of bocce you can find them trying the best bars in Chicago and watching various sports. Matt enjoys health and fitness and golf...he is by far the best golfer in the wedding party!
Nikita Chawla

Nikita and Monica....wait for it....met through their sorority in college and have been close friends for over a decade! After living together in Chicago for three years, Nikita and Monica love Taco Bell (hallelujah, they brought back the Mexican Pizza!), their furry friends (Daisy, George, April), a good glass of red wine, and living in the bustling blue-line neighborhood that is Wicker Park. Ask Nikita about yacht weekend in Croatia. Also talk to her if you want to make your music taste infinitely cooler.

Miles (aka Beau) and David met freshmen year at University of Illinois and now live in Chicago together although he is moving to Austin! Since moving to Chicago after college, they have traveled throughout the city exploring every possible music venue they can find seeing many incredible performances. Make sure to ask Beau about some of his favorite shows!
Nikki Coon

Monica loves how Nikki has welcomed her into the Stern fam from the start. Nikki is hilarious in the sly, low-key way that anyone who is lucky enough to know her understands. Nikki and Mon share a love of wine, excellent skincare products, and of course, cats (Chloe and April). And we've forgiven her for being the only U of I grad in the crew!

Miles and David met at University of Illinois living in the same fraternity and eventually together senior year. Miles also lives in Chicago where he and David have remained very close hanging out most weekends attending concerts, going out to eat or playing some pool or darts. Whatever it is you can usually find them together!
