Maid of Honor
I scared her off at first, but Victoria and I have been best friends since middle school. As we grew up, we grew up together. She's my closest friend, one of my biggest supports in life, and so much more. Even living together during COVID couldn't make us tired of each other! 2020 was impossibly hard, but it was easier knowing she was usually less than ten feet away. I couldn't imagine my wedding day without her right by my side.
Best Man
Will and Jerod have been friends nearly their whole lives. Since grade school, Jerod has been Will's closest friend and confidant. Be it playing Halo at each other's houses or poker with the rest of the gang on Friday nights, Will and Jerod have been large parts of each other's lives for several years. And now we are very excited to have him as a part of our wedding.
Bridesmaid
Ruth and I became friends through work as Girl Scout Camp Counselors in 2019. I was drawn to her humor and energy, and we were instant friends. In the last few years, Ruth has become one of my closest friends. Her laugh is contagious, and I'm incredibly lucky to call her a friend and Bridesmaid. She never fails to make me smile, cry, or laugh so hard I cry - whatever it is I need, she's there.
Groomsman
Andrew and Will are old friends, going all the way back to the beginning at Andale Elementary. Andrew and I became friends in high school in band and Spanish. When Andrew moved away our senior year, we always made sure to stay in touch and spend time together whenever he was in town. We've been blessed to watch Andrew become an amazing husband and father.
Bridesmaid
Katie and I went to school together at Colwich Elementary. Katie and I were in choir, and drama together, and she had chemistry with both me and Will. We became especially close in high school when we were on the same Odyssey of the Mind team, and have been close friends ever since. Katie's cool demeanor makes her a calming presence, and I knew she'd be a must have on our special day.
Groomsman
Ian and Will met through work at the National Institute for Aviation Research. They've been coworkers and good friends over the last few years, and remained friends as Ian moved on to new work. We often joke that Ian and I are practically the same person, but mostly I'm glad to finally have someone that agrees with me on just about everything.
Bridesmaid
Molly and I met in high school, becoming fast friends in choir together. Molly is such a warm and kind person, and she's someone I've always been able to depend on. Empathy is her superpower. Molly has a way of knowing exactly what you need to hear, whether it's the hard truth or some validation. From hosting many of our parties and always bringing us back together, Molly is the glue to those around her.
Groomsman
Will and Gabe are the youngest two sons, but are as different as could be. Sometimes we need these people in our lives to balance things out, and we knew that Gabe would make sure that our wedding is a fun time. In the time that I have known Will, I have watched much of his family grow, Gabe included, and we are very excited to have him with us on our special day.
Bridesmaid
Sami Hein is the youngest of the Hein siblings, but she's not to be underestimated! She's kind, caring, intelligent, and generous. Over the last six years I've been blessed to watch Sami go from Will's teenage baby sister to an amazing young woman. I'm so thankful I get to have her as one of my bridesmaids. I love my little brothers, but I always wanted a little sister!
Groomsman
Isaac and I terrorized each other growing up, but that's part of what little brothers and big sisters do. Fighting aside, Isaac and I have always had each other's backs. He still enjoys worrying me with his eighteen year old antics, and I still enjoy telling embarrassing stories of him, so this wedding will be a great opportunity for some more of those.
Father of the Bride
Gary and I met when he and my mother began seeing each other when I was just six years old. Since then, Gary stepped in, became Dad, and so much more. I know it couldn't have been easy to go from bachelor to Dad of Two (and eventually Three), but I'm forever grateful he did. Much of who I am is him, and I'm so happy he gets to walk me down the aisle.
Mother of the Groom
Since Day 1, Patty has treated me like one of her own kids. Patty is not only an incredible woman, but an incredible wife, mother, and "memaw." She helped shape Will into the man that I know today, and for that I am forever grateful. We hope that she is as excited as we are to add me to her ever increasing number of children.
Father of the Groom
Will's father, Roman, is a dedicated and hard working man who loves his family. Roman possess all of the qualities that Will has expressed to me of the kind of parent he wants to be. I believe the first conversation I had with Roman was about the litter of cats their family had out at the Farm at the time. I see much of Roman's personality in all of the men in Will's family, especially Will himself, and I can't wait to have him as a Father-in-Law.
