Joel is Monica’s second older brother aka “Dikong”. Before Monica moved to Atlanta, the longest they were ever a part was 3 days. It is only fitting her first best friend be her Man of Honor! They met when Monica was Born on April 13 1997. They have spent almost everyday together either bickering, laughing, crying, or watching their same 5 comfort movies and shows. You can catch Joel on ice or at a theme park. He was the host of Disney On Ice, a puppeteer at Disney world and most recently a dancer for the Christmas parade at Universal Orlando! In his free time, you’ll see him hyping his siblings up and being the best most supportive middle child ever!

The Mabel to Tyler’s Dipper (iykyk). Brooke is Tyler’s only sibling and first best friend. There is simply no guy that could live up to the legend that is Brooketh! If you know Brooke, you know that she loves herself a spoopy Halloween. She never misses an opportunity to decorate for a holiday, ESPECIALLY in October. She's such a big fan that she and the Legendary Snake Wrangling, Volleyball Spiking, Mountain-Skiing, John Pork Enthusiast, Kevin Rocklein are even getting married in late October! Also, it may sound extreme, but I think it's fair to say that Brooke (AKA Brock) may just be the funniest Picchi this world has ever known. Valeri is Monica’s Sister-in-law and long time friend. They met years ago when Valeri was competing in a local Filipino pageant in Florida where Monica was hosting. Soon after Valeri started dating her Kuya (Koo-Yah) (Monica’s Brother Josh), but ever since they all moved to LA, they’ve been inseparable! Valeri is a proud mother to her two beautiful greyhounds Ophelia Star and Suri Mae who are very sad to be missing the wedding. She and Josh also have a sun conure named Maria who is happy to be resting at home! When not hanging with Monica or her pets, you can catch Valeri scoring your favorite movies and shows like the Hunting Wives on Netflix, Julia on HBO, or the Churchill at War Documentary on Netflix.

The soon to be brother-in-law Joshua, Monica’s oldest brother. Tyler first met Josh on set of one of Josh’s films “Dad” where Tyler was an extra. Tyler was also a part of Josh’s entourage years ago in his wedding. Now they frequent basketball courts and gyms together in LA and sending many memes in one of the dozen group chats they have. Josh has Directed many films and shorts with Tyler and Monica many of which you can find online! Josh has also worked with some of your favorite celebrities like Miley Cyrus, Michelle Yeoh, Steven Yuen, Dan Lin (head of Netflix), the Russo Brothers and more!
Cherish (Eris) Ortiz

Monica always looked up to her Ate Eris since the day she first uttered her name. “Ate Eris” (ahh-teh) were probably some of Monica’s first words. Cherish aka Ate Eris is Monica’s first cousin from her Dad’s side of the family. Ate Eris is also the first person to put Monica on camera when she studied at the Academy of Arts Film School in San Francisco. She had a short film where Monica was playing a little demon child at around 7 years old (no acting was needed). Ate Eris is a proud Mom to her son Hudson who is one of the sweetest boys you will ever meet. Along with the entirety of the Ortiz family, Ate Eris loves to sing, cook, and laugh aggressively loud together. She used to be one of the Bay Area key camera operators and is still very much a movie lover! She now works in merchandise for brands across North America.
Andrés Erickson

Tyler and Andrés TECHNICALLY met circa 2018 doing VO for a little animated TV pilot called Eggbots. Which they're both still pissed never got released, but that's neither here nor there. Andrés doesn't like to brag, but he's insanely good at Smash Bros and will likely kick anyone's butt who tries to face him... same for Mario Kart (I still have no idea how he makes it look so easy, but I'm starting to suspect he rigs it). Anyway! Andrés is an incredible person, an incredible friend and an incredible actor. Monica and I don't just choose anyone to spend 99% of our time with. When moving to LA we wanted to... save money of course... but at the same time, we wanted to make sure we had a roommate who we could trust, we could vibe with and who we could collaborate with as filmmakers and as friends. That's too much to ask for, right??? Guess not. Because Andrés checks off all those boxes AND THEN SOME. We are so grateful to have his presence in our lives and we're so excited to take all our laughs, our goofs and our chaos all the way to the Philippines in 2027!

If you’ve ever been in a room with Monica and Arielle you’d think they’ve known each other since birth (they are 11 days a part). But time is a construct and though it’ll only be 5 years of friendship on the wedding day, those 5 years have been truly well spent. They first met in Arielle’s apartment, she was a roommate of Erica (another bridesmaid) in Atlanta; Monica was visiting for Erica’s birthday and during the prep of the party Arielle and Monica yapped too much Monica was of no help for decorating. The two gals were attached at the hip the entirety of Monica and Tyler living in Atlanta. They worked the same part time jobs, gigs, and are even in the same agency together, Formation! You can now catch Arielle star in the hit soap opera Beyond The Gates as Naomi on CBS!
Cody Howard

Cody and Tyler met back in 2019 through a game of DnD, however, their friendship really sparked when they built the Lego Batmobile while watching The Batman on Cody's couch one night. And they's been eachother's "Big Bois" ever since. They have bonded over their love for movies, the gym, yo-yos and improv. Their friendship continues, but this time on a different elevation. Cody now flies high in the sky as a pilot over in Vero Bach, FL. He's made the incredible effort to get his pilot's license at an extremely fast rate, and is already doing loop de loops with his students. We're so proud of Cody and we can't wait to see him so that he and Tyler can reunite as Big Bois once again.

Erica and Monica met over 10 years ago at a Disney audition where they both inevitably didn’t get the job. Years later though, when Monica eventually got hired, on her first day of work touring the tunnels of Magic Kingdom, she saw Erica with her Elsa wig on running up to her to congratulate her for getting her Mickey ears. Years later during Covid, Erica, Monica, Tyler and Joel all took improv classes together with masks and all at the SAK Comedy Lab in Orlando. Shortly after Erica moved to Atlanta, Monica and Tyler followed suit. The Joelle twins (Monica and Erica share a middle name) have created many memories, cursed and cherished alike, and are looking forward to their 50th friendaversary. You can now catch Erica performing all throughout Atlanta and has gone quite viral online for her Liza Minnelli impersonations.

Zachary. Arthur. Winiecki..... Another member of the infamous Bowl Tide. This is a man who can do many things. One of those things is not giving a buffalo's a$$ about what people think about him. And that's one of the main reasons why we all love him so much. Zack will show up to a nice restaurant in a wife beater, Buffalo Bills' pajama pants and flip-flops and you just have to accept it. Zack has always, and WILL always be his unapologetic self. Zack and Tyler met through AAU basketball in 5th grade. Over the years they have built an incredible friendship together which has involved many video game battles, lots of dancing, silly voices, and endless amounts of times where Zack tries to make Tyler as uncomfortable and embarrassed as possible. It's fair to say that Zack, without realizing, had been mentally preparing Tyler for the cut-throat business of acting through his numerous butt slaps and attempted kisses in public... But Zack, at heart, is a genuinely kind and good person. One of the main reasons he manages to stay so grounded is due to his significant other, Taylor. And I think she'd agree. If you'd like to meet Zack, he shouldn't be hard to find. Just shout "Josh Allen sucks!" and he will materialize from thin air... and depending on how well the Bills do by the time you read this, he'll likely be your best friend.
Anushea (Nushhy) Azmil

Anushea aka Nushhy is Monica’s internet best friend turned in real life friend! They met over 10 years ago online when Monica and Joel would sing Disney songs live and Nushhy was one of their main supporters. Years later they finally met in person in London where Nushhy used to live. They remained close friends online but would only hang out a week at a time in different parts of the world, like Orlando, Los Angeles, London, and later during Nushhy’s wedding in Kuala Lumpur, where Monica was a Bridesmaid as well. Nushhy is a proud Mum to three beautiful kids Armiya, Alaya and Aaira! When Nushhy isn’t at a Disney park or with her family, she’s making some of the best food you’ll ever have since she studied at the Le Cordon Bleu.
Triston Dye

Triston Dye is a man of mystery. And he likes it that way. You my find him acting in a movie, you may find him diving into the deep and elaborate lore of Warhammer 40k, he may be 3D printing miniature models to sell for our company #TripleForgedMiniatures, or he may just be delving into the Bigfoot conspiracy theories inside a YouTube video that has 14 views. Either way... he is a man of knowledge. Triston and Tyler met back in 2019 working as background actors. They got to talking about DnD and the next thing you know, Tyler was involved in an elaborate and well thought out story that Triston had designed himself. If there's something Triston has been tasked to do, you know he's going to give it 110% Many games and journeys have been had since then with different groups of friends along the way. But one thing always remained the same... Triston giving us a badass and memorable story to unfold together. This right here is a very good man. Whether he's willing to admit it or not, Triston is full of goodness and passion. Both of which have made for a friendship to last a lifetime. GlonkMaster, I am looking forward to seeing you take to the beaches of Bohol in all your glory!

Monica met Phil in 2020 from a mutual friend right before Josh and Val’s wedding on Mainstreet in Disneyland. They were instant friends but unfortunately lived in opposite sides of the country. Despite the distance they remained friends online, but when Tyler and Monica moved to LA they began to hang out almost everyday. When the two are together prepare to see constant inside jokes, laughter, and smize offs. When Phil is not at their place for game and movie nights, you can see him taking the most beautiful photos (he took the ones on this website), finding the most sensational scents and perfumes, or performing/dancing at Disneyland. And if you’ve seen a Taco Bell ad recently you may have also seen his superstar hands holding a chalupa.
Sreejith Kumar

Sreejith and Tyler met back in Riverview High School where they collaborated on many things, including several school projects, short films and the ultimate challenge of taking down Chess God in Chess Club. Oh, and it's important to note, Sreejith is one of the 4 members of the infamous Bowl Tide (the bowling team that shocked the world around 2014-2015). His technique consisted of a nice smooth straight ball that often was so smooth you didn't hear it hit the ground. FUN FACT: Sreeijth has been a part of a fantasy football league with Tyler and Zach for the past 10 years or so. 4 years in which Tyler has won the championship... but who's counting? Sreejith, AKA Sreebop, AKA Sreebaby, AKA Sreedaddy can be found in Washington DC putting his mechanical engineering degree to good use. He may be the the smartest member of Bowl Tide on paper... but we know who it REALLY is.
Jacob Burton

BURT!!! He also answers to Dirty Burty or Burt Wonderstone. 1 of the 4 proud members of Bowl Tide. Burt is as classy as he is sassy. He won Best-Dressed in High School and has never looked back. Well, to be honest, I have no idea what he's wearing these days but I can assure you that nobody, even in the Windy City, can compete. Yes you read that right. Lil' ole Burt is workin' in Chicago. I looked up different things people call Chicago and a couple include "The City of Big Shoulders" and "The City That Works." Which is ironic because Burt is built like a miniature Conan O'Brien, lanky and lean, and to be honest I'm not sure what his "work" truly entails. I know he helps kids go to college or something but he also said it's likely a scam... so whose to say? Anyway, Burt and Tyler have shared many moments together, like traveling to rural Florida on a Bowl Tide camping trip where they were approached by an old tooth decayed couple trying to lure them to their home to presumably eat them........ They also wrote a movie together which went on to premiere at the Sarasota Film Festival. The stories could linger on, but the important thing to note is that Burt is a great person and a better friend. He can make you laugh just as quickly as he can make you rethink your entire wardrobe choices. We love our Dirty Burty. Find him looking spiffy in February of 2027.

Pops... I know you prefer to stay private, but if there's something people should know it's that you have been and continue to be one of the greatest influences in my life. I owe the hard-work and dedication to my craft to you. You have taught me the meaning of discipline and believing in yourself. Monaliza is the first human Monica ever met, because yes, she is her mother. Monaliza was born just a quick ferry ride away from Bohol in Dumaguete, Negros Oriental. Monica was Monaliza’s little mini me throughout childhood and loved mimicking her Mom. She introduced Monica to a lot of her favorite hobbies like makeup, pageants, and being very competitive (that counts as a hobby). Monaliza always wanted a daughter to which Monica happily obliged and became her and Joel’s last kid. She like Monica, happens to also be very competitive, and in the past few years Mona has become a prolific marathon runner having run at the Chicago, Berlin, and LA marathons, among others. If you want to learn the local language of Bohol, ask the mother of the bride for a couple sayings, as Bisaya is her first language!

Mom, I can't believe I'm writing this right now, thinking of what to say to you before I get married!... But I guess I'll say this: you are the Yin to Dad's Yang. Your effortless love and kindness is something that should be studied in a lab. I cannot imagine the life I would've lived without your teachings of balance and empathy. You are truly a genuine, whole person and I feel so lucky to call you my mom. Countless hours spent helping me get through school and many more showing me emotional support when I needed it most. I hope that I can bring a hint of the amount of light that you have brought to the world. Father of the Bride
The man, the myth, the legend, and the “Joel” that gave Monica her middle name “Joelle”. Monica’s Papa migrated to the U.S. at just 17 years old and like Monica, he has lived many lives. From black jack dealing in Vegas, to being a fisherman in Alaska, Papa Ortiz is filled with so many of Monica’s favorite stories. From the northern part of the Philippines, Luzon, the wedding will unfortunately be on the opposite side of the country. Joel Sr. learned how to golf as a young boy in the Philippines and later taught the game to Monica and her brothers. He was her first golf coach and caddy, and still enjoys playing the game with her. Now you can catch Joel Sr. still golfing, cooking lots of Filipino food, and watching action movies!
