Monica and Troy met in October 2022 and have been together ever since. They met at a Florida State University football watch party at their favorite bar, The Blind Goat, went on their first date the following Monday, and from that point on, they were inseparable. Troy and Monica are an outdoorsy couple, but also love their nights in—especially playing games. They bring out the fun, childlike side in each other. Their sense of adventure is a big part of who they are together, so it felt fitting that Troy proposed in a hot air balloon, an unforgettable moment that perfectly captured their love for trying new things together. They live with their dog, Dale, whom Monica rescued in 2019, and Troy has lovingly accepted as part of their little family. Monica and Troy are getting married in Tampa, Florida, on the Hillsborough River — a place where many of their earliest memories were formed paddleboarding and strolling on the Riverwalk. They are beyond excited for this next chapter of their lives and to continue building a beautiful life together.
