Our love story began after meeting amongst mutual friends back in 2016 at a local jiving dance club. Our common interests and style drove us to become infatuated with each other. Jazz music and vintage clothing was amongst the many starting conversations that led to our date nights. Evenings spent at historical places in LA, sipping on champagne with vintage attire as if we had just stepped out from the golden age of Hollywood. Amongst our common interests, there was also areas to which we both learned from each other. Monica’s knowledge on anything old Hollywood, from fashion to movies and Rick’s expertise in 1950s music and dance. Nine years of being in each other’s life, not only did we learn together, but we also grew together, facing challenges and tribulations that only made our hearts grow fonder. Through happiness and sadness, through sickness and health, we learned that some things are just worth fighting for and that life is too short to not make the most of what we’ve got! Over the years, we built a foundation for ourselves that consists of compassion, loyalty, commitment but most of all, pure love.
