What is the attire?

Answer

Our dress code is formal attire preferred. We want everyone to look and feel their best! Bright summer colors are encouraged, but not required! Think classy and elegant garden party! Ladies can wear longer length dresses. We kindly ask you avoid the colors white, ivory, cream, beige, light yellow, or anything that could closely resemble the bride! Bridesmaids will be in lavender. Gentlemen can wear classy suits and ties. Please do not wear jeans or shorts. All venues are indoors. Are children allowed at the wedding?

Answer

As much as we love your children, we do kindly ask they do not attend. We encourage you to think of our wedding as a fun parent's night out!

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Only those who have been specifically named on the invitation or given a designated “guest” on their invitation may attend the wedding. We want our wedding to be an intimate affair.

What time should I arrive at the Chapel?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 15 min before the ceremony! Doors will be closed promptly at 1:00pm. We do not want you to miss it!

How late can I RSVP?

Answer

The last day to RSVP is May 22th, 2024. Our vendors have a strict "final count" due date and we will unfortunately not be able to accommodate you if you RSVP late and will have to mark you as a "no". Please RSVP on time, we want all of our guests there!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you do not film during the church ceremony. We have an extremely talented photographer and videographer who will be capturing all the wonderful moments on film! We will share all of their work from our day with you. HOWEVER, please take all of the videos and pictures you want after the ceremony! Do not forget to send what you capture our way!

Will there be parking?

Answer

Dayton Chapel- There are two parking lots a short walking distance from the chapel that are available for free parking. There is B lot by the library and P lot between L Street and Caldwell Street. Dayton Arcade- There are numerous parking garages within walking distance of the Arcade Rotunda with varying prices based on the length of time parked in the garage. The reception is also a short walking distance from the hotels.
