Villa del Balbianello - Wedding Venue
This elegant, romantic 18th century mansion and its magnificent garden have hosted writers, scholars and travelers, including Count Guido Monzino, the last owner of the Villa. Villa del Balbianello was brought back to its original vocation in modern times, when Guido Monzino, entrepreneur, collector and passionate traveler, chose it to preserve the memories of his adventures, which include being the first Italian to climb Mount Everest, with impeccable order and exquisite taste. Maps, travel tools, books, furniture items, as well as precious and peculiar collections of ancient and primitive art objects, evoke the life and deeds of their owner: everything is still arranged according to his will, including the relics and souvenirs of his mountaineering exploits displayed in the fascinating Museum of Expeditions.
Village of Bellagio
The Iconic Village of Bellagio, located at just a 10 min Boat Ride from the Wedding Venue, is one of the most beautiful villages you can visit on the lake. Featuring the famous Villa Serbelloni with spectacular views of the Swiss Alps this town is a Must See while on the lake!
Villa D 'Este
Located on the shores of Lake Como, one of the most romantic settings in the world, Villa d’Este is surrounded by ten acres of enchanting park with centennial trees, statues and colorful flowers. Built in 1568 as the summer residence of Cardinal Tolomeo Gallio, it was transformed into a luxury hotel in 1873, becoming a favorite destination for the European aristocracy.
Villa Carlotta - Museum - Botanical Garden
Located in Tremezzina, within a short distance from Villa del Balbianello, Villa Carlotta is another example of how architecture can perfectly blend with the beauty of nature and art. The whole complex extends over a 70,000 m2 (17 acres) area of gardens and museum. Villa Carlotta is surrounded by a wide botanical garden that is full of ancient trees, palms, rhododendros, azaleas, and many other plants.Villa Carlotta is also famous for its art collection. An important museum collects statues, paintings, and original neoclassical furniture, as well as valuable masterpieces by Antonio Canova, Francesco Hayez, and Bertel Thorvaldsen.

One of the first places that made us fall in love with Lake Como! Grand Hotel Tremezzo is our favorite Hotel on the lake and we will share our post wedding day brunch with you on the beautiful terrace of this hotel. The hotel's origins date back to the early 1900's, the era of romantic grand tours, long voyages and illustrious travellers. Lake Como was already an obligatory stopover on the international tourist circuit and a favourite destination with the elite: rich and cultured foreign visitors from England, Germany, France and Austria, as well as Belgium and Switzerland.

A very special place to us, our favorite Italian restaurant on the Lake, the most amazing food and only a handful of tables. We keep coming back to this place over and over again, Tiramisu out of this world!
