Kyle and Monica met in college at Davenport University (Grand Rapids, MI). Kyle lived in the room above Monica. Kyle and his roommates were being loud one night and the next day came down to apologize to the girls. We all started hanging out together, and their friendship blossomed into love!

College graduation was very special to us since we graduated the same year. Kyle studied Cybersecurity and IT Project Management (BS). Kyle works as a IT Project Lead at Auto Owners Insurance. Monica studied Industrial Production Management (BBA), as well as earning her Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA). Monica works as an International Logistics Specialist for Wacker Chemical.

Kyle proposed to Monica on Spring Break Vacation of 2025. He proposed to her in front of the Basilica de la Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, Spain. Monica was very excited to visit the church and was completely thrown off when he got down on one knee!
