In November of 2014, Monica had been living in Baltimore for 8 years, and she'd recently moved to the Canton area to live with a roommate. Keith was living in his Greektown Castle for about a year with his blonde, four-legged roommate, Gunther. They both had taken the chance to try Match.com, and up to this point, neither of them had any luck. One night, after a few glasses of wine, Monica thought it would be a good idea to send out some feelers on Match. She came across a profile for a guy wearing a Santa suit in his picture. She thought this would pair well with her wearing reindeer antlers in her profile picture! After a few email and text exchanges, they decided to meet on the Monday before Thanksgiving for drinks at Looney's Pub. It was a warm evening, so Keith decided to walk the mile and a half to the bar. They ordered Natty Boh and a Bud Light and went to the upstairs bar to watch the Ravens beat the Saints and the Bills beat the Jets. According to Keith, this date lasted 10 minutes. Monica claims it was about the length of the first half of the game. You can decide who you believe on this one! After that first date, Monica and Keith began hanging out regularly checking out the various activities around the city at Christmas time. One thing led to another, and they became inseparable!
